Scout Sunday
What?
Scout Sunday is an annual event where Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, and other members of the Boy Scouts of America celebrate their faith and the connection between Scouting and religious principles. It typically occurs on the Sunday before February 8th, marking the anniversary of Scouting's founding in the United States.
The day emphasizes the 12th point of the Scout Law: "A Scout is Reverent", encouraging Scouts to show respect for their own faith and that of others.
Our Scouts will assist in the service at Celina First United Methodist Church to show appreciation to the church for allowing us to use their facilities for meetings throughout the year.
